انشئت كلية الهندسة سنة 1999 م ومنذ دلك التاريخ والكلية تتطور وتتوسع رويدا رويدا حيث تشرف على الكلية نخبة من اساتذة الهندسة من ذوي الخبرة في التعليم الهندسي يسعون للارتقاء بمستوى الطلبة ويبذلون جهودآ كبيرة من اجل النهوض بالمستوى العلمي والاكاديمي للكلية خصوصا وان العالم يشهد تطورا سريعا في التعليم العالي والبحث العلمي ، مستندا الى التطورات التي تحصل في علم المعلوماتية والاتصالات والتي انعكست بدورها على التخصصات العلمية كافة حيث بدأت الكثير من الجامعات العالمية باستحداث تخصصات جديدة تتواكب مع هذاالتطور العلمي وبما يلبي حاجات المجتمع . ولغرض مواكبة هذا التطور للتعليم العالي في ليبيا فأن كلية الهندسة تلبي الطموح المستقبلي لتشمل التخصصات الحديثة في العلوم الهندسية بما يضمن مواكبة التوجهات العالمية والتي تنسجم مع حاجتنا المستقبلية آخذين بعين الاعتبارتوفر الإمكانات المادية والبشرية بحدودها الدنيا والتي تضمن تحقيق الأهداف التي نطمح لها ونسعى لتحقيقها بما يخدم مسيرة التنمية وعجلة النمو في وطننا

Bayesian Modelling of Quality Accreditation Network

Accreditation of laboratories has been a subject of considerable interest because product quality guarantee has become one of the prime factors to be considered at this present time of highly competitive industrial activity. Laboratories in the developing countries need to establish a new strategy on accreditation to be able to demonstrate the capability to compete internationally taking account of the difficulties, barriers, confidence and international acceptance. This paper intends to investigate the factors that lead to establishing a sustainable national accreditation body (NAB) and examine employees and management's attitudes and perceptions toward the development of a sustainable NAB in accordance with ISO/IEC 17011. The analysis has led to development of the main important factors that are directly affecting accreditation programmes in the developing countries. The Bayesian analyses have identified the main drivers of an accreditation model. The outcomes of the analyses are satisfactory because they correspond with the results of the theoretical framework

Investigation of the Continuous Wavelet Transform Method for Use with Late Time Response Analysis of Concealed on Body Threat Objects

Abstract- investigation of the use of continues wavelet transform (CWT) method to late time response analysis for detecting on body concealed threat objects proposed in this paper. The transient backscattered mechanisms of on body concealed weapons target signatures are studied using the wavelet analysis technique in which signal processing algorithm is developed and the Morlet wavelet applied to extract and analyses the re-radiated transient response of concealed targets. Experimental work was done by using simple and complex objects such as wire and handgun, Wavelet analyses of backscattered data from various objects are presented, the results show that the Continues wavelet transform (CWT) has the ability to detect and discriminate between the hidden-on body objects.

Fault Classification with a Feature Selection Based On Bayesian Approach

Abstract Fault diagnosis with a dimension reduction based on Bayesian approach is proposed in this paper. The first step is to generate a sample (parameter) of fault-free mode class and faulty mode class. The second, in order to obtain good classification performance, a selection of important features is done with the discrete karhunen-loeve expansion. Next, the Bayes test for minimum error is used to classify the classes. Finally, the results for simulated data demonstrate the capabilities of the proposed procedure.
