انشئت كلية الهندسة سنة 1999 م ومنذ دلك التاريخ والكلية تتطور وتتوسع رويدا رويدا حيث تشرف على الكلية نخبة من اساتذة الهندسة من ذوي الخبرة في التعليم الهندسي يسعون للارتقاء بمستوى الطلبة ويبذلون جهودآ كبيرة من اجل النهوض بالمستوى العلمي والاكاديمي للكلية خصوصا وان العالم يشهد تطورا سريعا في التعليم العالي والبحث العلمي ، مستندا الى التطورات التي تحصل في علم المعلوماتية والاتصالات والتي انعكست بدورها على التخصصات العلمية كافة حيث بدأت الكثير من الجامعات العالمية باستحداث تخصصات جديدة تتواكب مع هذاالتطور العلمي وبما يلبي حاجات المجتمع . ولغرض مواكبة هذا التطور للتعليم العالي في ليبيا فأن كلية الهندسة تلبي الطموح المستقبلي لتشمل التخصصات الحديثة في العلوم الهندسية بما يضمن مواكبة التوجهات العالمية والتي تنسجم مع حاجتنا المستقبلية آخذين بعين الاعتبارتوفر الإمكانات المادية والبشرية بحدودها الدنيا والتي تضمن تحقيق الأهداف التي نطمح لها ونسعى لتحقيقها بما يخدم مسيرة التنمية وعجلة النمو في وطننا

Development of a Computer Model for Solvent Slugs Driven with Water

Miscible gas flooding using natural Carbon Dioxide gases is currently being investigated as possible EOR process in a number of Libyan reservoirs. The major reason for selecting miscible gas flooding as an EOR process was because of the adaptability and possible gas availability at reasonable cost. CO2 and hydrocarbon gases could achieve miscibility with a number of reservoir oils at current conditions [pressure] through a multi-contact miscibility process. The main disadvantages of immiscible gas flooding is the high mobility ratio so that the gases have the tendency to channel through the oil which results in by-passing much of the oil in the reservoir and low sweep efficiency. To solve this problem, a technique was tested consisting of alternately injecting small solvent [hydrocarbon gas or CO2] and water slugs. The slug of water reduces the speed of the solvent which results in reducing the chance of solvent fingering an improving the mobility of the system. The main objective of this study is to investigate the effect of WAG RATIO on overall recovery of miscible flooding. The following (WAG) ratios were tested: 1:1, 2:1, 1:2, and 3:1. Straight carbon dioxide injection was tested as well and a comparison between different systems is presented. Economical studies of different systems are also presented and risk assessment of carbon dioxide flooding is discussed.

Modified Extend Least-Squares Algorithm for Fault Detection and Diagnosis

Abstract Modified extend least-squares parameter estimation algorithm is derived for the special case of ARMAX model identification algorithm. In this method, identification algorithm transform into two sub problems with smaller sizes is used. System identification model and noise identification model. The proposed algorithm has high computational efficiency because the dimensions of its covariance matrices become small. Also, residual generation and evaluation are computed. In simulation, the estimation error of standard recursive least algorithm and two stage extended least squares algorithm are calculated and plotted. The figure shows effectiveness of the proposed algorithm. Next, parameter is estimated using of modified extended least squares algorithm to show the accuracy of the method. Finally, residual is generated and threshold is designed to detect the fault. The figures indicate that the proposed algorithm is sensitive to the faults.

A Survey On QoS Routing Protocols In Ad-Hoc Networks

Ad Hoc networking allows portable devices to establish communication independent of a central infrastructure. The issue of routing in a mobile ad hoc network becomes a challenging task since the mobile nodes are free to move randomly. Quality of Service (QoS) is the performance level of a service offered by the network to the user. Most of the multimedia applications have stringent QoS requirements that must be satisfied. The goal of QoS provisioning is to achieve a more deterministic network behavior, so that information carried by the network can be better delivered and network resources can be better utilized. A service can be characterized by a set of measurable pre-specified service requirements such as minimum bandwidth, maximum delay, maximum delay variance and maximum packet loss rate. However, many other metrics are also used to quantify QoS. This paper classifies QoS routing protocols based on topology, route discovery with QoS mechanism, interaction based between network and MAC layer, QoS metrics based, and type of QoS guarantee.
