Improved Route Cache Method for Dynamic Source Routing Protocol

Mobile Ad-hoc Networks (MANETs) are described by connectivity through a collection of wireless mobile nodes along with rapid changing network topology. Wireless mobile nodes are free to move autonomous of each other which make routing processes more complicated. In order to assist communication in the network, a routing approach is required to discover and maintain routes between wireless mobile nodes. This article suggests a new approach for MANET routing protocols, specifically for Dynamic Source Routing (DSR) protocol. We named it IRC. Basically, IRC utilizes an Improved Route Cache method for efficient route caching. It aids mobile nodes to reorder their route caches as soon as a new route has discovered. Since IRC employed two different concepts; freshness and shortness of the source route to select an efficient source route for possible future use. As results, excessive experiments show that the improved DSR (which uses IRC method) outperformance the standard DSR protocol in several simulation scenarios, specifically: the packet delivery ratio, routing overhead, and dropped packet ratio with respect to the mobility. All the simulation scenarios have been carried out with GloMoSim simulator.

Since 2011, the number of illegal immigrants has dramatically increased from African counties to Libya, where they prepare for their journey through the Mediterranean sea to Europe. Before migration, they stay for a period of time and work in Libyan cities and may contact the local community through various means. BaniWalid is a small city with a population of 120,000, receives thousands of immigrants every month, the majority of them come from countries known with endemic diseases. The study was carried out during the period from March to June 2016, with the help of Baniwalid healthcare office and non-governmental foreigners’ registration office in BaniWalid. Blood samples of 1511 immigrants from 24 nationalities were tested for infectious diseases including HBV, HCV and HIV using Rapid test kit and positive results were confirmed by ELISA. The aim of this work was to find out the prevalence in immigrants and associated risk for local community. The study found high prevalence of HBV and the results were 6.68%, 3.51% and 0.967% positive for HBV, HCV and HIV respectively. The prevalence of infection rate for each nationality was established to find the high risk group. The finding indicates that the increased contact with immigrants will represent high risks for the local community. The paper suggests that Libyan health service providers must think differently and focus on educating local community about prevention, transmission, symptoms, treatment and control of infectious diseases as the first line of defense.

Palynofacies and geochemical analyses of the Silurian Tanezzuft Formation, NC115 concession, Murzuq Basin, south-west Libya: Implications for source rock potential and palaeoenvironment

 A palynofacies and organic geochemical investigation has been undertaken on 46 core and cuttings samples taken from seven wells drilled in the NC115 Concession, Murzuq Basin, south-west Libya. Most of the samples yielded marine and non-marine palynomorphs in a fair to good state of preservation, which together with palynological data have been used to confirm the age, determine the environment of deposition, and evaluate the petroleum source potential of the Tanezzuft Formation. The palynological assemblage recovered from the basal Hot Shale contains an abundance of acritarchs, chitinozoans and cryptospores, with some taxa, such as Plectochitina sp., Evittia remota, and Tetrahedraletes medinensis, indicating an early–mid Rhuddanian (early Llandovery) age for this unit. The deposits overlying the Hot Shale yielded diverse assemblages of palynomorphs, the occurrence of Angochitina qusaibaensis and Leiofusa banderillae in particular indicating a late Rhuddanian–Telychian (Llandovery) age. Two palynofacies associations have been identified. The Hot Shale palynofacies (PF-A) contains Type-II ≥ I kerogen, which is highly oil-prone and reflects a distal suboxic–anoxic sedimentary environment. The palynofacies of the overlying deposits of the Tanezzuft Formation (PF-B) is dominated by Type-II/III kerogen, which is both oil- and gas-prone, and indicates depositional conditions that range from distal dysoxic–oxic shelf to mud-dominated oxic shelf (distal shelf). Rock-Eval pyrolysis results indicate that the Hot Shale is organically-rich with an average total organic carbon (TOC) content 7.23 wt%, whereas the TOC of the overlying deposits averages 0.62 wt%. The organic matter in the Hot Shale has the capability of generating more liquid hydrocarbons than the rest of the formation, which lies within the early oil-maturity window. A simulated burial history for the NC115 Concession allowed the time and magnitude of hydrocarbon generation from the main Silurian Tanezzuft Formation source rock to be determined. Oil generation from this source rock took place during the Carboniferous/mid-Cretaceous period, whereas the maturation level for gas had not been reached at this stage.

Rigid rings with involution

In this paper, we introduce the property of *-rigid and \alpha -*-rigid for rings with involution (*-rings). These concepts generalize that of rigid and \alpha-rigid properties, respectively. We show that *-rigid is equivalent to *-reduced and \alpha -*-rigid *-rings are semiprime. Also, we show that reduced *-rings are \alpha-*-reversible and \alpha-rigid *-rings are \alpha-*-Armendariz. Moreover, sufficient conditions are given for *-rigid and \alpha-*-rigid *-rings to be rigid and \alpha-rigid, respectively. We give also sufficient condition for \alpha-*-Armendariz *-rings to be \alpha-*-rigid. Furthermore, we investigate the transfer of the properties of *-rigid, \alpha-*-rigid, \alpha-*-reversible and \alpha-*-Armendariz from a *-ring R to some of its extensions; such as polynomial *-ring $R[x]$, localization S^{-1}R of R at S, Laurent polynomial *-ring R[x, x^{-1}], Dorroh extension $D(R,\mathbb{Z})$ and from Ore *-ring to its classical Quotient Q. Finally, we discuss when the skew polynomial *-ring of a *-Baer (*-reversible) *-ring is *-Baer (*-reversible). Also, we show that the polynomial *-ring o f \alpha-*-reversible *-ring R is \alpha-*-reversible if R is *-Armendariz.

Evaluation and Optimization of Nonlinear Central Pattern Generators for Robotic Locomotion. Journal of Control Engineering and Applied Informatics

With regard to the optimization of Central Pattern Generators (CPGs) for bipedal locomotion in robots, this paper investigates how the different cases of CPGs such as uncoupled, unidirectional, bidirectional two CPGs are used to produce rhythmic patterns for one leg with two degrees of freedom (DOF). This paper also discusses the stability analysis of CPGs and attempts to utilize genetic algorithms with the hybrid function and adapts the CPGs to robotic systems that perform one-leg movement, by utilizing the bidirectional two CPGs. The results show far greater improvement than in the other cases. CPGs not only enhance movement but also control locomotion without any sensory feedback.

In this paper, with the aid of the Wolfram Mathematica or Matlab software the powerful, the Adomian decomposition method (ADM) is used to found the numerical solution of Lorenz chaotic system. It is shown that the method is straightforward and effective mathematical tool for solving this system. We make a comparison between our method and another method to illustrate the accuracy of this method. Finally, we submit comprehensive conclusions.

ON REVERSIBILITY OF RINGS WITH INVOLUTION

Let R be a ring with involution *. We give the notion of central *-reversible *-rings which generalizes weakly *-reversible *-rings. Moreover, we introduce the class of weakly *-rings which is a generalization of central *-reversible *-rings and investigate their properties. Further, a generalization of the class of quasi-*-IFP *-rings is given; namely weakly quasi-*-IFP *-rings. Since every *-reversible *-ring is central *-reversible, we give sufficient conditions for central *-reversible, weakly *-reversible and weakly quasi-*-IFP *-rings to be *-reversible and some examples are given to illustrate these situations. Finally, we show that the properties of *-reversible, central *-reversible, weakly *-reversible and weakly quasi-*-IFP can be transfer to some extensions of the *-ring.
